Dr. Premo

Medical Director

Dr. Premo originally joined Freeland Animal Hospital a (sister hospital to Woodland Animal Hospital) as a veterinary assistant in 2011, but went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine. She attended Ball State University for her undergraduate degree in Biology. Her special interests include preventative and internal medicine. In her free time, Dr. Premo enjoys off-roading in her Jeep, concerts, hiking, fishing, traveling, and trying new things. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs Ollie and Mick .

Morgan McConahay

Hospital Administrator

At an early age, Morgan has always been drawn to animals, growing up showing horses competitively. Eventually graduating from University of South Alabama with a degree in Biology, Morgan planned on working in the veterinary field from the beginning. She has previously worked in both preventative care and emergency/ intensive care as a Veterinary Nurse. Morgan emphasizes not only a love for pets, but a love for education and community. She is married to her husband, Ken, and has 2 human children: Elliot and Mallory.

The fur babies include 2 standard poodles: Vegas and Luxor, a cat: Peaches, a ball python: Omen, and a couple of llamas. Morgan thoroughly enjoys participating with the kids in 4H, loves dog training, live music, water sports and dancing.

Morgan has goals to obtain her Veterinary Technician Licensing in 2025 and is very excited to join Woodland Animal Hospital.

Kelsey Towner, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Education:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine

Professional and Personal:

Dr. Towner grew up in Chesterton but has lived in multiple towns throughout Indiana. She currently shares her home with her boyfriend and their 5 cats. During her free time, Dr. T enjoys knitting, candle-making, traveling, hiking/camping and spending quality time with friends and family.

As a fear free certified professional, Dr. Towner’s goal is to reduce anxiety for cats and dogs before, during and after their veterinary visits. Her special medical interests include internal medicine and cardiology.

Amy Holland

Area Manager

Amy comes to us with a number of years in the Veterinary Field. In July 2017 her husband Adam, an Army Recruiter, was reassigned to Indiana. She has spent many of her years in the service industry as well as the veterinary field; and watching her in action you can tell she loves people and pets. Amy shares her home with her loving husband, son Daniel whom is serving in the Army, daughter Krystin, and her pets.

Abby

Lead RVT

Abby has always had a deep love for animals, growing up showing dogs, cats, and participating in numerous 4-H projects where her dedication earned her multiple awards and valuable experience.

After graduating high school, she worked as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant while working on her Technician degree and License. After graduation from Harrison College in 2018, she soon afterwards became a registered veterinary technician, turning her passion into a lifelong career.

Abby is passionate about helping animals and clients by taking the time to listen, support, and provide compassionate care, as she understands how important pets are to their humans and strives to make each visit as comfortable and positive as possible

Outside of work, Abby enjoys adventuring outdoors through camping and hiking, immersing herself in video games, and cherishing moments spent with friends and family. As well as volunteering at her local humane society, aiding animals and humans alike.

At home, she shares her life with her spirited Terrier mix Primrose, playful Tuxedo cat Mia, and affectionate Tabby cat Evie.

KARLEE

Veterinary Assistant

Karlee started her career in veterinary medicine as a junior in high school for a large and small animal practice. She continued working at a veterinary clinic while attending college where she received a degree in criminal justice. She quickly realized the veterinary field was her calling.

She resides in Sheridan with her six fur babies, Lab mix (Sadie), two Chihuahuas (Nugget & Gypsy), a chiweenie (Sassy), a cocker spaniel mix (Norman), and a tabby cat (Davidson).

In her spare time she enjoys couponing, spending time outside, naps, riding motorcycles and spending time with her Gran.

Lyndsey

Pet Stylist

Experience:
Lyndsey has been grooming since 2007 and has been part of the Woodland Animal Hospital family since 2012. She currently holds two grooming certificates and is constantly seeking ways to refine her skills and learn new techniques.

Professional and Personal:
When Lyndsey is not making pets look and feel fabulous, she is spending quiet nights at home with her husband, Jeff, and their two young sons, as well as their cat Stewie. She also enjoys playing piano, reading, attending concerts, baking, and spending time with her family.

Gracie has been working with animals since 2018 when she started her career at a small boarding and daycare facility. She loves being able to help and provide for both pets and their owners. She has 2 dogs of her own: Nyla, an american staffordshire terrier, and Honey Bee, a sharpei french bull dog mix. In her free time, she like to cook, spend time outside, and have a night out with friends.

I have worked in healthcare for over six years, with extensive experience as a Memory Care Director.” Her passion for compassionate, person-centered care led her to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals living with dementia. “Recently, I made the transition to animal healthcare to expand my knowledge and deepen my understanding of animal wellness and behavior.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my two beloved cats, Casper (a Siamese) and Ember (a Bombay). A lover of both art and music, I try to bring creativity, empathy, and dedication into every aspect of my life and work.

Rebecca

RVT

Rebecca started working in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant in 2021 as a junior in high school. She very quickly realized veterinary nursing was where she wanted to be and set her sights on a college degree. Rebecca graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from the Vet Tech Institute at the International Business College in 2023. She obtained her RVT license in 2024.

Rebecca has a feline baby at home named Daisy. Her hobbies include drawing/coloring, playing card games, going on long road trips, and watching football.

Harlie

RVT

Harlie has always had a passion for animals. She always knew she wanted to be in the veterinary field growing up and made that dream happen. She began shadowing a veterinarian in her home town of Tipton, IN throughout high-school, and then went to International Business College to graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology.
She has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2015, working in preventative care and emergency medicine. She is passionate about her job, always learning and working to provide the best care to her patients that she can.
Harlie is a Fear Free Professional and RECOVER Certified, with many other certifications in animal nutrition. She is working on achieving her VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty) in Nutrition and is always willing and ready to talk about food options for our patients.
She still resides in Tipton with her husband Derek, 5 children, and pets. On her days off she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, and when it’s warm outside- riding her husband’s motorcycle.
